us cities hosting olympics
Do not think anyone in Birmingham, AL will have the Olympics 2020?
I asked this question because the mayor of Birmingham is working very hard to improve this city and I wanted to know if anyone thinks this would be a good place to host the Olympics ps I mean thats part in Birmingham Southeast U.S.
I seriously doubt it. First, there were Olympics in the region recently. Second, the homicide rate (With other crimes of violence) is much too high. Thirdly, the infrastructure is there ie no reliable way for public transportation mass. I think they are good enough reasons alone, and given the decision will be taken within 5 years, I think it is quite unlikely.
