To use Amazon S3 to host online video clips?
I heard that Amazon S3 is a good solution if you use a site for share videos, and the need to host the videos away from your server. 17 cents per GB sounds like a dream come true. 1) My first Question: I just wanted to confirm that the foregoing is true and you can put all the videos on this account, and simply links to your website? 2) I am completely lost when access my Amazon S3 account and try to understand how to access the web space and transfer files. Everything on the menu resembles a kind of jargon, and it is very easy to use. Where and how do I download files? The site is a complete nightmare Navigation no unique link that says "Load File box" or something to that effect. I did not even know where to go. I read through the Help section, and I'm still lost ...
S3 software is good and all, but if you want to dynamically videos on the S3, you must look at the API and Amazon designing a PHP script (probably using curl) to send the files to a web server instead of yourself manually loading (which would have to What if you used the external 3rd party software). I am a PHP programmer with experience and could help you with this for a price. When he left, he was not sure of the structure of the API, so I had another programmer to help me with it and charged me $ 3000, but I want to do much cheaper.
