VoIP is a story almost constant in our daily business and technology related news. VoIP, or Voice over Internet / IP is actually a new emerging technology with old-new face and marketing spin. In fact, we've been using VoIP for years, and the Internet community used email for years before being accepted by the business communities and consumers in the nest-1990. If you want Reference to Voice over Internet Protocol or VoIP, to the simplest level is just about to voice or audio input device microphone, digital input, slicing into packets, sending them through an Internet network to a destination address, reassembling packets at the other end - voila! you have Voice over Internet or IP.

Sound too simple? Precisely what the telephone industry do not want you to know. It's simple, so simple, a small group of people can welded to slap some code, called Skype, and in the 18 months sign up nearly 80 million people worldwide. And guess what? WORKS! Time Warner or Verizon Stake Hawaii wants the influence they had on the market!

Now, a bit like the Internet itself, the user community is to define and write the future of communications Global Voice in the privacy of their own homes. Not in Palo Alto, not in Bangalore - in simple rooms and stores, hobby informal scattered worldwide. Hard to believe communication system of its next personal or business can be written and published by a school student Uruguay.

Get this ... Which companies Telephone pressure can try to try to prevent VoIP applications through the use of tactics such as E911 non-compliance, taxes, regulations, etc. This may, in fact, there is no way for governments to regulate in the end VoIP. The only way that eventually the telephone companies and government applications, voice command can simply close the internet. Otherwise there will have a new application born every day, which is designed to go around temporary blocks established by companies wishing to filter VoIP from their networks. Why say that?

Consider-mail. Many Post and Telecommunication (PTA) in the world have first tried to control the use e-mail in their country. Many reasons have been given to national security, violate the rights of the state monopoly mail, and a thousand other reasons why email is not acceptable in the situation "special" in a specific country.

The result? The community has creative side to their governments. Instead of accessing email providers of local accommodation providers and e-mail -- which is simply a Yahoo, Hotmail or other email services and access via Web browser freemail located in public a different country. The debate over e-mail is a problem. This will soon be the case with VoIP.

Here is another interesting idea to consider. In the case of email, now nearly any desktop can be configured to use mail server - things simple, even for a beginner on. With VoIP, servers domain name now in the street as "asterisk" as its next neighbor secondary student could be the phone company next. So soon as the regulators start going after Vonage and other VoIP companies public, one hundred phone services ala Skype for free, compatible and interoperable with thousands of other free phone services will emerge.

A full understanding of the concept of presence further inform the masses on this approach. Reflecting on the potential impact on traditional voice services if Yahoo, AOL, and MSN instant messaging or other service providers with the presence of VoIP aspirations actually meet more and more analysts expect telecommunications! Claims MSN instant messaging to add about 30,000 visitors each day!

So what can the phone company for only half guard to VoIP? Probably nothing. Voice over Internet / IP "train has left the station. The best chance they have is to focus on creating physical networks, partnerships with companies managing one or more VoIP and presence, and are resigned to the position of an infrastructure provider telecommunications. Just concentrate pressure can slow the spread of VoIP within a geographic location, but VoIP is a technology really disruptive will have a major impact on how we communicate in a global network and society.

VoIP is in our future
