Where can I get a free server to test tempalte or is it wrong?
Hello, I have yet accommodation. I Accommodation Free with GoDaddy, I do not know if I need .. I want to try a few models for Joomla, and I was told that I need a server? where I can get one for this and then what I do when I downloaded the template, just keep the files open, is it wrong? Thank you
Run a tool like WampServer, install Joomla locally (There are instructions on the wiki) and will have a test site that you alone can access. Since you do not have dependents, it is much faster and safer. You can modify and test changes more quickly. Hope this helps! EDIT: Free MySQL does not provide the necessary support for Joomla. joomla placed in C: \ wamp \ www \ joomla (which will visit http: \ Joomla \ \ localhost when you want to try your site on the Web browser) and delete the templates in the templates folder in C: \ wamp \ www \ joomla \ templates \ TemplateName (the model must have its own folder). You can then choose your model in the admin panel (which http://localhost/joomla/administrator).
