There are several reasons to get your website created with Adobe / Macromedia Flash. Flash presentations are fresh, are dynamic and have great multimedia experiences.

SWF file too big for web publishing?

I use After Effects to create a simple animation. The aim is to put on my site. I tried many options in AE to do animation (eg, Quick Time, MPEG2, etc..) And then import it into Flash. The problem is that these files are too big for my site. The smaller file is approximately 2.5 MB and my host only accepts files less than 200 KB. Even if the site not accept large files, I fear that taking the time to download. What am I doing wrong? Is there a way to reduce the file by a factor of 10 and still make a good quality?
