Spam is not a recent phenomenon. It has existed since the advent of the Internet, and will continue. A recent study by McAfee was fairly sums up the seriousness of problems posed by spam. Did you know that, because of spam alone, 33 million kilowatt hours of electricity was lost in 2008? And this is only for United States. Imagine what the total would be with the world combined. Another statistic that showed a power 3 billion dollars are lost by spam. Why is this the case? At the individual level, emitting a spam about 0.3 grams of carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas emissions. If you multiply the number of spam sent around the Net e-mail estimates that 62 billion emails, which becomes the final value of approximately 17 million metric tons dioxide carbon.

So what is spam? Spam is a term for any email or unsolicited junk you receive in your mail service. There are many variations in the spam mails. The most common are trying to "sell" products such as Viagra, request your personal information and credit that the state has won a lottery or award. Did you know that when McCole, a U.S. based host who was responsible for much of the spam in the world was closed in 2008, the result has been an annual saving of carbon dioxide equal to have 2.2 million vehicles off the roads? This shows that we can reduce the amount of spam so effective in taking action against ISPs (Internet Service Providers) alone. Unfortunately, many of These victories are short-lived because spammers are like weeds, they will migrate to another ISP and develop its capacity Shipping Spam again. But if everyone took action? And if everyone was able to identify the source of a spammer and a demonstration cons ISP email accounts to close down? In fact, it is an impossible task every effort to encourage all users 6 billion Internet users to take immediate action, but it remains a resource value as an individual. All you need is a viable complaint kabem! A low percentage but significant spammers may have disappeared.

So how can we identify the source of a spam mail? Unfortunately, the e-mail services have evolved to a state that allows people to send spam using the e-mail fake. However, there are ways to avoid that and find the true identity of the user. Let me explain how.

Identify the real source of spam

Fortunately for us, email headers can tell us much. Spammers may be able to forge a fake mail, but are unaware of their fate is known as the header alone. Fortunately for us, the website services are free to do all the testing for us. However, before you begin, you must fist the original header HTML email. Several e-mail will give you the opportunity to switch to HTML. In Gmail, click the down arrow beside the reply button and click on "Show original". Once you have the HTML code, copy it and go to the source Web page Spam Locator (Search Spam Locator Geobyte origin in the search). Paste your HTML code in the text book and click Send. You should now have a table behind e-mail spam!

Wait, not done yet! Now, you must identify the ISP IP address. How? You must run a feature tracerroute called. To open this type, open run and type "cmd" to open the command window. Now, write en''xxx. Tracert xxx.xxx.xx''(Xs be the IP address) will be developed road marker. You should now be able to see the address of the supplier IP access.

This is an example of what could be seen.

traceroute to 62105106207 (62105106207), 30 hops max, 38 byte packets
1-hsrp2.cc04 wien.AT.eunet.at (193.154.165.1) 0.952 ms 0.820 ms 3.707 ms

As you can see, trace route, could identify more than one ISP. What is the origin? The final gxn.net. Great! Now, you've found your ISP. Everything you need to do now is to find the ISP's website which has identified and report abuse and hope for best.
