Ventrilo and Teamspeak two applications are inherently similar. In its purest form, both use a technology Voice over IP on a framework client-server to allow players to communicate online. In other words, many users can install software on your computer ( "client") which is organized by a central shaft (the "server") conveniently located in a data center is well connected to the local area to minimize latency.

Teamspeak and Ventrilo usually use a headset to computer, but both work well with a simple microphone and speakers. TeamSpeak 2 client interface is very rich in features, however, somewhat more cumbersome as Ventrilo.

Future development

The alpha version of Teamspeak 3, contains several new features such as Sharing Tabbed server, the review is like instant messaging and IRC, AIM and should be launched before late 2007. Little has been said about the next version of Ventrilo, however, a new Declaration of Ventrilo is also expected soon, which should remain very competitive with Teamspeak, and like all the other entries in the industry voice for the foreseeable future.
As the voice communication line evolves, one thing is certain, with the development of fierce competition from one of the applications, users must not let their hopes for the future of online gaming.

Australia Battlefield 2142 Ranked Server?

I was wondering if anyone knew of a Battlefield 2142 server host. Our current host is closing in Australia (Hypernia) and we are looking for a new host to host 2 Battlefield 2142 servers and a Teamspeak server. We also open to dedicated servers if anyone has any links. Thank you.
